Comments: We plan to use virsli in our study. If your dog does not like virsli, please let us know

Short description of the test:
IMPORTANT! TEST ONLY RUNNING BETWEEN NOW AND THE END OF JUNE EMAIL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

What are you studying:
Have you ever had the feeling that your dog felt guilty when it did something wrong? We plan to study if owners’ can tell what has really happened in their absence solely from the behaviour of their dogs.

What do we know about it:
Through domestication, dogs developed the ability to live in the human environment. Both humans and dogs are social animals and have evolved to think and assess the world around them. Dogs are particularly interesting because they learn about our expectations and to respond to our behaviour. We are studying the behaviour of dogs in relation to rule breaking.

What will you (the owner, the dog) do in the test:
The test will consist of the owner and experimenter pretending to be friends sharing food and talking in a room. We will create a scenario where the dog could potentially eat the human food.
